They say that a leopard cannot change its spots, but everyone is learning all the time in Leopard Class, including the grown-ups!
Our teacher is Miss Norman and our teaching assistant is Mrs Woodhams. Mrs Hague and Mrs Clarke can also be found in Leopard Class and Mrs Howe teaches us on a Wednesday afternoon.
Every week we have PE on a Monday afternoon and a Wednesday afternoon. Once a fortnight, on a Thursday afternoon we learn to play our recorders.
Leopards are fun and fearless big cats. We love reading and writing and becoming expert mathematicians. As we are in Year Two now, we are very independent and love to solve problems by thinking things through for ourselves.
We love to find out about the world around us. Every year we try to get out and about as much as we can. We often have special events related to our topics. These might include things like trips, choir events, special visitors, World Book Day, art projects and much, much more. You will see us playing a big role in the Christmas play and our end of year leaver’s assembly is a real tear-jerker! Our mums and dads are so proud!
Leopards are a busy bunch. If you are in school, come to see our learning walls to find out what we are up to now
You can see from the displays in our classrooms the variety of topics we cover. As the year progresses, the displays change. By July, you will be able to see the whole range of subjects we have covered. Our Working walls help us learn – the content builds as the term progresses.
You are welcome to come in and meet us all and see the lovely work that we do!
