Bromley Heath Infant School was visited by HM Inspectors in October 2015. Pupils were observed during assembly, registration and playtimes. Lessons and parts of lessons were observed throughout the school. Samples of their work were also inspected.

Leadership: The drive and passion of the headteacher is central to the continuing success of the school. She is ably supported by the deputy headteacher.
Curriculum: has been carefully designed to excite and motivate pupils. It is complemented by a wide range of enrichment activities to which all pupils have access.
Assessment and Monitoring: Teachers’ assessment of what pupils can and cannot do is accurate and effective. As a result, pupils across the school are making good progress in reading, writing and mathematics and some are making outstanding progress, for example in their reading.
Pupil Integration and Welfare: The transition arrangements from pre-school to the Reception classes are of a high quality. As a result, children settle quickly into school life, grow in confidence and make good progress in developing the skills they need to become good learners.
Relationships with parents: The overwhelming majority of parents are delighted with the school and are pleased with the education and care their children receive.
