National Sing Up day: Wednesday February 24th 2010

We have a whole school Sing Up every week, and today we joined in with national Sing Up day.  We all assembled in the hall and sang for half an hour.  It was great fun!  We recorded our singing, with equipment that we hadn't used in the hall before.

ICT Enrichment Afternoon

Recently some of the children attended an enrichment afternoon held at the school. They were joined by children from 6 other schools. They used digital video cameras to create part of an animated story, on the computer. Just like Ardman animations of Wallace and Grommet! The story that the children animated was Little Red Riding Hood and they had a great time moving the figures and taking pictures. The film is being edited to create one whole film and once it is done we will put it on the site for you to see. In the mean time have a look at the photos to see what fun the children had.
