I am very impressed with the positive attitude and sense of fair play show by these children. Well done!

A BIG thank you
A lot of children went to the Bromley Heath festival and represented our school brilliantly by doing some of our Wake and Shake routines.
Thank you all for entertaining the crowd and demonstrating your skills in movement and dance.

Y2 music festival
This year’s music festival was held at Christchurch Infant school and the Y2 children from both schools sang a range of songs some of which are from the Sing Up site. It was an enjoyable event and good to meet up with Year 2 children from another school.

Parking near to the school
The parking situation near both schools is compromising the safety of children, parents and other pedestrians. At present the police are engaged in monitoring the situation and will issue parking fines if necessary.
Permitted parking
Badminton Road  Methodist church car park
The Sandringham
Car park adjacent to the church hall

Dinner money
From September the cost of a school dinner will be £1.65 per day.

School of the week
We were nominated by Nicole Beebee, mum to Eddie in Penguin class to be Star radio’s school of the week.
What a surprise!

The award was presented during an assembly and was accompanied by a basket of fruit to share amongst the classes.

Summer Fair Sunday 18 July

We look forward to your support at the last fund raising event of the school year.
The Friends of School committee has been working really hard to organise a variety of fun filled activities and events and deserves our support.
There will be another opportunity to see children demonstrating Wake and shake!

Goodbye Year 2 children

It has been a real pleasure to see you all grow, develop make progress and become enthusiastic, independent learners.
You are ready now to move onto Year 3 in the junior school and continue your learning journey.
Au revoir, enjoy the holiday and we would like to hear how you are getting on in Year 3.
